This is because if diabetes is left unchecked, it can cause serious long-term issues such as heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, and damage to the eyes. Because the effects of diabetes are not apparent immediately, it can often go undetected for years during which time it has already caused damage to the vital organs such as the heart, brain, and kidneys. Therefore it&#8217;s essential to be regularly tested for diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>At Eastern Diagnostics we have formed a Diabetic Profile test which will check for the onset or existence of diabetes.
